Save The Bitter End NYC Live Stream Event 9/15/2020

I am proud to be a part of this Live Stream Event to Save The Bitter End! This venue is on historic Bleecker Street and it is where I honed my craft as a singer and songwriter in the early 1990’s!

I’ve invited my good friend and talented musician, singer, songwriter Liz Taub aka #Violizzy to join me on 9/15 @ 9:40PM for some of my early compositions that were inspired by NYC and penned on cocktail napkins while I sat at the Bitter End Bar and/or hung out back stage waiting for my turn to perform.

Chix + Axe featuring Val Kinzler, Tucky Parkis, Rigel and Roz will be playing at The Shrine on 3/4 in Harlem, NYC and also on International Women’s Day 2020 at The Red Lion, NYC. Otherwise known as the “Thelma & Louise” of soul, chick-hop and punkabilly, Val & Tucky began playing together as a duo in 2017 with their debut performance at The Red Lion in NYC for NYC Women Who Rock’s Concert series! This year, they are joined by the stellar lead guitar and vocals of Rigel and the drumming of “Wizard Of Roz!”

A fan once wrote;
“If Robert Plant and Lene Lovich had a love child, she’d sound like Val.”
Warning!:
This is not music for the finely manicured psyche.
Kinzler writes lyrically haunting mini “Hope operas.” Drawing inspiration from an array of war torn heroes and working class zeros, these heARTfelt songs of redemption & romance offer poetic immortality in a razor heart edged Valhalla.
Val is a featured Women of Substance artist,
founder of New York City Women Who Rock,
Women In Music Martin Guitar’s Scholarship recipient & member of the Recording Artists Development winner’s circle.
Roger Blanc aka “the JAMES Bond Of lead guitar” is known for his astute musicianship, Jazz & classical compositions, work with noteworthy Nashville and Grammy Award winning artists.

“Interestingly hip!”
Dr. John
“Great songs, let’s hear it for Valkyrie.”
Marty Balin
“A must hear!”
