My name is Val Kinzler and I'm a New York original. I spend my days writing and creating music and my nights performing at venues everywhere. I'm inspired by the everyday struggles we all face: survival, love, loss and those rare, magical moments when everything seems to come together, if only briefly, that keep us in the fight. These are the elements I bring to my songs, the spirit I connect to when playing for audiences.
Grabbed my cleanest dirty shirt
splashed some water
raced to work

Traffic jam in my brain
If I could just take off these chains
I'd take you back, I'd take you back
Traffic jam in my brain
If I could just take off these chains
I'd take you back, I'd take you back
There's an earthquake kind of hush
each time I recollect your touch
There's an earthquake kind of hush
each time I recollect your touch
We'll tear it up then I'll be gone
I'm gonna be your dirty blonde
We'll tear it up then I'll be gone
I'm gonna be your dirty blonde
